Like all kiln-dried logs delivered by Lekto, our ash firewood is made from premium-grade trees sourced from sustainably managed forests. No pesticides, preservatives, or other chemicals are added to our ash logs for burning during the production process. As our ash firewood is a 100% natural product, there is a slight variation in the shape and density of each log. Because of this fact, the weight of each 22-litre box varies slightly.

The Highest Possible Manufacturing Standards

Lekto's ash wood logs are manufactured to far stricter standards than what is stipulated by the Ready to Burn standard. We only use premium ash wood from sustainably managed forests. The trees are cut into chunks measuring exactly 25 centimetres and then split into similarly sized logs. The freshly-split ash firewood is then dried in an industrial kiln for an extra long time to ensure extra-low moisture levels. As a result, the ash firewood for sale at Lekto burns cleaner, more efficiently, and with less smoke than conventional options.

100% Plastic-Free Packaging

Unlike most suppliers, Lekto doesn't ship its kiln-dried logs in plastic bags or nets. Instead, your firewood will arrive in durable, stackable, plastic-free packaging with built-in handles. To protect your product during delivery, each 3-pack is shipped in a protective outer box made of pure cardboard and closed shut with paper tape.

After being opened, Lekto ash logs need to be stored in a dry, ventilated space to ensure optimal performance.

1. Start with your logs. Place a few ash logs in a grid formation at the bottom of your wood-burning appliance.
2. Add your Kindling. Next, stack your kindling into a Jenga tower-like shape on top of your firewood logs. Leave a bit of space between the pieces to let the air flow through them.
3. Add a Natural Firelighter. Then place the wood wool firelighter either on top of or inside your kindling tower.
4. Set the firelighter ablaze. The firelighter will set fire to your kindling, which will, in turn, set fire to your logs.

Possibility of Split Deliveries

Please note that DPD may split your order into several parts and deliver them separately. This is due to the way their delivery systems handle heavy shipments. The remaining part of the delivery usually arrives within one to three days of the first one.
